Another chicken dinner – Philadelphia Chicken

You’ll see so many recipes on Easy Peasy that are chicken based, it’s just so versatile!

This is a cracker of a recipe, trust me…..

So easy, so simple, please just have a go!

I’m hoping you’ve probably got most of the ingredients in the fridge, freezer and cupboard.

In this house it’s such a favourite.

And you simply just bang it in the oven!

It’s sort of self saucing. And a one pot wonder!

And boy it’s a lovely sauce, sweet and garlicky

Philadelphia Stuffed Chicken

Perfect Texture & Flavour with this Philadelphia Chicken Bake

The creaminess of the philly and the crunch of the breadcrumbs is yummy!

It also has a sweetness to it from the cherry tomatoes and garlicky yumminess, plus the chicken stays super moist….

So good!

I know many  many people have added other veggies too with great success

Such as mushrooms, broccoli, sweetcorn etc

Have a go – try it 🙂

Philadelphia Chicken a firm crowd pleaser and so simple

We all love Philadelphia Cheese recipes don’t we, and it doesn’t have to be Philadelphia any soft mild cheese spread?

I love to use it in pasta dishes too.

I find that using the light or the extra light versions help me keep the calories lower and also the fat.

And it still works really well with the low fat versions

To serve your Philadeliphia Chicken dinner

I usually serve mine with new potatoes and peas.

But it would also be great with a salad.

Or why not just a big plate of veggies

Or maybe even with a small portion of pasta, the sauce works really well with pasta

  3. From Beth
Made the ‘Philly Chicken’ today for lunch and it was delicious! ? Put it together with new potatoes and peas and it all got eaten up – five clean plates! The chicken was cooked to perfection, so succulent, and the tomatoes mixed with the Philly sauce gave it a real sweet taste. Definitely something I’ll be doing again ? xxx

This looks scrummy! I always have pink bread crumbs

  5. Michelle Frank | Flipped-Out Food

Good Lord: the double threat of autocorrect and accidentally hitting SUBMIT. Let’s try again. I always have PANKO breadcrumbs in my pantry, so I’m trying your recipe with those. This sounds really delicious and so easy! Thanks for sharing on #cookblogshare!

  6. Kirsty Hijacked By Twins

Philly is such a great ingredient isn’t it. This looks delicious. Thank you for sharing with #CookBlogShare x

  7. Absolutely delicious, AND super easy

  8. Absolutely delicious and very easy!

  9. I made this last night and it went down a treat. Thank you so easy and delicious

  10. Absolutely delicious will do it again.

  11. I’m not one to leave a comment on a recipe, but I’ve made this twice between four nights, and am thinking of making it yet again (three times in less than one week?!?) it is that delicious. Both times I made it, I changed up the vegetables with what I had available (one time using shaved Brussels sprouts and the other time using cauliflower, both in place of the spinach) and it was fantastic. Love this versatile, easy yet impressive enough to serve company dish.

    1. Oh Thanks Amy and so lovely to hear – I like your ideas 🙂 xx

  12. Made the ‘Philli Chicken’ for lunch today, with roast potatoes & veg, very nice it was too. Will be making this again.

    1. Super to hear – Thank you x

  13. Does this recipe need to be made with the spinach and tomatoes can you just make it as like a chicken dish and could you also chop up the bacon and put in with the cream cheese mixture??

    1. Hi Kayla – not it doesn’t have to have the tomatoes or spinach – but it is a full meal with them
I would add the bacon on top of the chicken so it’s crispy
Let me know how you get on
      Thanks Clare
