The Tame Tom Collins  – Summers here…. I really think it is!

And how lovely to sit in the garden with one of these after a tough week at work…. Why not I say!

It’s the baby sister to the Tom Collins I guess we could call it a Tina Collins?  

A much longer drink!

The Tom Collins is a Collins cocktail made from gin, lemon juice, sugar, and carbonated water.

First memorialized in writing in 1876 by Jerry Thomas, “the father of American mixology”, this “gin and sparkling lemonade” drink is typically served in a Collins glass over ice.

A “Collins mix” can be bought premixed at stores and enjoyed alone (like a soft drink) or with gin.

However I’m not entirely sure why exactly you would you do this – the gin makes it for me 🙂
