A delicious red lentil dahl that you dump in your slow cooker. It's packed with flavour & delicious
- 2 Red Onions Peeled and diced
- 30 g Fresh Ginger Peeled & grated
- 2 Cloves Garlic Peeled & grated
- 1 Vegetable stock cube
- 500 g Red Split Lentils Dried
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 2 teaspoons Medium Curry Powder
- 2 teaspoons Garam Marsala
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Chilli Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 2 teaspoons Ground Coriander
- 800 g Chopped Tomatoes 2 tins
- 1 litre water
- Salt & Pepper
Add all ingredients to the slow cooker
Stir well and pop the lid on the slow cooker
Cook on high for 4 hours (check lentils- you may need an extra 30 minutes ) or low for 6 hours (again check lentils are soft)
