These lovely festive Rock Roads and full of yummy treats and perfect for Christmas
- 100 g Dark ‘Real’ Chocolate
- 50 g Milk Chocolate
- 75 g Butter
- 2 tablespoons Golden Syrup
- 100 g Mini Oreos halved
- 50 g Digestive biscuits broken
- 50 g Dried Cranberries
- 40 g Pistachio Nuts or Brazils if you like
- 60 g Mini Marshmallows
- 100 g Glacé Cherries halved
- Icing sugar for dusting
Line a 24cm x 24cm tin with greaseproof paper and a little butter.
In a large pan melt the Chocolate (both types) butter and golden syrup over a low heat, stirring.
Once melted remove from the heat
Add Oreos, broken digestives, dried cranberries, Pistachios, marshmallows and Glacé cherries
Stir really well until everything is covered in chocolate and tip into the tin, loosely press down
Refrigerate for minimum 3 hours
Remove from fridge and cut into whatever size pieces you want
They are very rich so I suggest small - you can always go back for another.
Finally dust with icing sugar
Put in an airtight box in the fridge, they will keep for a week if they last that long….
