So what is a Lamb Kofta exactly?

Well according to Wikipedia

Kofta is a family of meatball or meatloaf dishes found in South Asian, Middle Eastern, Balkan, and Central Asian cuisine.

In the simplest form, koftas consist of balls of minced or ground meat—usually beef, chicken, lamb, or pork—mixed with spices and/or onions.

How to make spicy Lamb Kofta’s

Simply follow the recipe card method below – so so easy

You simply make the mix as the below recipe. You then split the mix into 4 and form each portion around a skewer.

Firstly make into a sausage shape then as above photo quash it around your skewers in a wavey (is that a word?) way!

These koftas really are something different and makes a great change, midweek!

You can make them in advance – cover on a plate and leave in the fridge until you are ready to BBQ them or grill them
