The Great British Bake-off’ Application
(and my sunken Cherries)
Oh so excited that the GBBO starts again on 5th August – I’m really so excited (yes really) I love it! Lets hope for another Norman 😉 So my Great British Bake off application….. mmmm
Anyway after lots of pressure from FB last year I did actually download the Application Form, you should have seen it! It was a serious case of “back to Uni” prep.
As usual I left it until the last couple of days I had to prepare photo’s / experiences / write about best bakes etc etc etc – it was EPIC
Finally the last night before the closing date (I was ill in bed – feeling really poorly) I managed to finish the application form and hit the “SEND” button.
I closed my Mac and tried to sleep.
The next few days I felt even worse and was in bed (not something I normally do)
Three days later I opened my Mac. DOH – it was still in the outbox as it was too large for the server 🙁 I sent it anyway but missed the very strict cut off time.
Never mind – wasn’t meant to be and to be honest this year the struggle of juggling life and work and trying to enter the blogging world is enough 🙂 (not that I think I’d be chosen anyway)
Next year – I will try again!
BUT every cloud has a silver lining and tonight I am featured under #bakingfails ha ha ha- ironic I guess…..
So will you be watching?
