It’s is *SO* warm here in NYC.Hence I have called the post, December Flip Flops in NYC! We have been coming her for more than 10 years, at the same time each year, and usually I am frozen and feel like my ears might fall off! This year it is so incredibly warm it’s a little strange. It almost takes away the Christmas feeling from the magnificent New York! I have also learnt this year that the Americans are almost more obsessed by the weather than us Brits, in fact there is more on TV about weather than there is news.
Again we are staying at the Andaz on fifth – it’s so lovely and almost not like a hotel – it’s a little like apartment living and it’s super cool. Thy cannot do enough for you and bonus is it’s ‘red wine happy hour’ between 6-9pm every night- how civilised! Shame I’m falling asleep by 8 π

This year I have really fallen in love again with Grand Central Station (Terminal) – it is quite a place! Never mind being a train station they have the most amazing Food Market – which I love wandering around…. I even manage to buy fruit!!
We have also eaten on 2 nights at Grand Central – it’s such a lovely building and atmosphere. One night at Ciprani’s and the other at Michael Jordan’s place – so good and so relaxed – the arcitechure is beautiful.
So today is Santacon – there are hundreds of Santa’s strolling the streets of Manhattan – mostly drunk π
We have been to Times Square this morning and bought tickets for The Illusionist – so I’ll let you know how that is – He Who Doesn’t Cook is really looking forward to it! We have walked miles so far and managed quite a few purchases π – my knees are bringing to hurt – maybe I’m getting old!
Missing Strictly Come Dancing is a pain but god bless Sky +
Tomorrow we are off to Trbecca and to St Patricks to light a candle or two <3 Maybe easypeasylemonsqueezy can take the US by storm ….. so far it’s not going that well π
Take Care Cx ( Chrysler Building – my favourite)
