Hot Chocolate with rum
Rum & Spice is Nice, this is what we call it
This lovely Rum Hot Chocolate is so so lovely – NICE ! Just look at it – so warming & so comforting and its super simple to make
This recipe has a splash of run and a hit of allspice – rum with spice is nice!
Don’t worry if you don’t have allspice, you could use nutmeg or cinnamon instead, or both!
What to serve with your hot chocolate
In fact its’ more than nice it’s absolutely AMAZING and goes beautifully with Ben’s Biscotti.
Biscotti are the perfect biscuits to dip in hot chocolate. They are baked very hard at first. However when submerged in this delightful alcoholic hot chocolate, it simply takes them to another level – I promise
They are totally made for each other.
According to Wiki:
Hot chocolate, also known as drinking chocolate, cocoa, and as chocolate tea in Nigeria, is a heated drink consisting of shaved chocolate, melted chocolate or cocoa powder, heated milk or water, and usually a sweetener.
Hot chocolate may be topped with whipped cream.
What isn’t nicer and more yummy than a yummy chocolate drink with a splash of rum and spice?!
Warms you up let me tell you on a cold day
What’s the best alcohol to go with hot chocolate
For me it has to be rum
However people do also like brandy and maybe a liquor such as baileys – give them a go and see which you prefer!
Enjoy
