Hello We Are Tea! and a little GIVEAWAY

Well Hello We Are Tea! And a little GIVEAWAY

I was asked to review ‘We are tea’  loose leaf tea together with the VERY clever little ‘simplicitea’ infuser by the team at ‘We Are Tea’. I love the whole concept of ditching those old teabags and really looking to see if tea (so popular) can be brought back to the natural beauty it is, everyday not just on high days and holidays. Now what we need to understand is  I’m no tea drinker (sorry) so my other half is actually the reviewer and boy does he drink a lot of tea! And he’s a harsh critic! Straightforward and to the point, no fluffy bunnies with him 😉

So hello to a PROPER cup of tea, basically my lovely tea caddies arrived with beautiful  (and quite pretty) loose leaf  tea together with the trendy looking ‘Simplicitea’ Infuser. This simple new kitchen gadget means you can brew a cup of PROPER tea in 90 seconds, yes 90 seconds #doitin90 as they say!

I was sent two different caddies of Tea – (I also like the clean simple branding – no stuffy business here!)

  • Gunpowder supreme – green tea and
  • Earl grey supreme – black tea

And this amazing little SimpiciTea infuser:

It couldn’t be easier you simply boil the kettle, leave it for 3 minutes, add 1-2 teaspoons of the loose tea of your choice to the Simplicitea, pour on the boiling water and leave to brew for 90 seconds – see where the #doitin90 comes from now? :-) Maybe dance a bit for 90 seconds? 😉

What you then get is a beautiful, freshly brewed cup of  pure tea. The Simplicitea is  quite swanky and very cool, as you simply sit the Simplicitea on top of a mug, this releases a valve and your Tea goes directly into your tea cup! That’s it,  job done. My other half has tried both types and loves them both. I tried to get him to explain to me what was the difference between this and normal old tea bags. In his words ‘the tea has a nice aroma, it tastes ‘fresh’ and clean’. I hope that helps you? – but for sure it’s far away from a mucky old tea bag. So this is now the way forward in our house. In fact last night I shouted up the stairs – ‘Do you want a cuppa’ and the response was – yes that nice stuff please!

Once you have finished with your Simplicitea you simply throw the leaves away (or compost) and rinse it and drain it! Easypeasylemonsqueezy!!!

And we are not talking ridiculous prices either – the Simplicitea is £18 and the teas are in the region of £5 ish depending on the type, hop over and have a gander – link below

Check them out HERE

AND what I also love is that We Are Tea area London based, independent, ethical, multi-award-winning tea business, set up ion 2012 by husband and wife team, Spence & Suzy! You can read all about them on their website. BUT they have won 46 Great Taste Awards and I’m not surprised! They are pretty cool!
