Freya’s Doggie Biscuits – yes that’s right….

From the lovely Freya!

  •  1 tub of peanut butter
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour (you could use a non wheat flour like rice if your dog has an allergy)
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons  honey (optional)
  • 1 egg (optional)

Other Optional Ingredients

  •  1 cup of oats to make even more healthy,
  •  Dried parsley – full of vitamins, good for digestion and helps to make your doggies breath smell good.
  •  1 cup of cooked and mashed up courgettes/pumpkins/squashes – really healthy veggie cookies – these could be substituted instead of the peanut butter!

Preparation Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix up to a dough.
  3. Roll out onto a floured surface – not too thin! cut out with dog bone cutter. (or improvise)
  4. Place on greased baking tray and cook for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. My doggies love them so they don’t last long but they can be stored in an airtight container for a week. In the fridge for about 3 weeks or in the freezer for longer.
  7. Happy baking love Freya x
