It  packs a massive mistletoe punch and just needs some carol singers and a log fire on the side.

And this Christmas Martini really hits the spot!

 

The Ingredients for your Christmas Chocolate Martini 

Coffee, Vodka, lovely Baileys and Coffee liqueur.

All my favourite things – not forgetting of course the chocolate to decorate…..

 

So what actually is a Martini?

Well according to Wiki!! 
 
The martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth, and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist.
 
Over the years, the martini has become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic beverages. H. L. Mencken called the martini “the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet”, and E. B. Wikipedia
 

Main alcohol: Gin

Ingredients: 1/2 oz (1 part) Dry vermouth, 3 oz (6 parts) Gin
 
Preparation:
 
Straight:
Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain in chilled martini cocktail glass.
Squeeze oil from lemon peel onto the drink, or garnish with olive.
 
Served: Straight (or on the rocks)
 
Standard garnish: Olive, Lemon twist

A delicious Christmas Chocolate Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso coffee doesn't matter if it's hot straight from the kettle
  • 1 shot vodka
  • 1 shot baileys
  • 1 shot kahlua or coffee liqueur
  • Piece of chocolate to decorate Ice

Instructions

  • Put loads of ice and all the liquid in a shaker or jar and give it a really good shake- the longer you shake the more you get a frothy top.
  • Pour into a martini glass and then grate a bit of chocolate over the top.
